The Free Course Student Doctor Program
JMU introduced the Free Course Student Doctor Program in 2011. In this program, students who achieve excellent academic standing, are judged as having the competency to pass the state medical examination at the end of their fifth year, and are highly motivated are qualified to be exempt from both sixth year classes and the JMU graduation exam. Instead, these eligible students can choose to design their medical training and practice programs and learn under the guidance of their mentors.
