School of Medicine

Jichi Medical University’s School of Medicine has an academic loan program available to all admitted students, which loans the entire amount, including entrance fees as well as other expenses for textbooks and other necessities, upon admission. Students are exempted from repaying this loan if they work as a physician for a public hospital designated by the governor of their home prefecture for a time period equivalent to two-thirds of the period of the loan (including working for a public hospital in a remote area for half of that period).
